We are a nonprofit, public charity that accepts funds from donors, manages them and distributes them to nonprofits in our local community and beyond.
We are one of more than 700 community foundations in the United States, including the 32 in Texas, that strengthen the community by enabling donors to create charitable funds that address a wide range of interests. As a community foundation we serve the needs of both donors and nonprofits in Hardin, Jefferson and Orange counties.
We are a public charity that accepts funds, manages them and distributes them to our local community.
MISSION:
The mission of the Foundation for Southeast Texas shall be to make a positive difference in the quality of life in the area by encouraging philanthropic gifts and by assisting donors in achieving their charitable goals through the professional management and considered and caring distribution of such gifts.
VIEW OUR PUBLICATIONS:
Newsletters are published and sent to the community three times a year. They are added to the web site at the time of publication. The Annual Report is published and sent to the community yearly in late April and is added to the web site.
A Manual for Professional Advisors is available at the Foundation office.
